I’m really glad you guys are doing this, after watching the Digimon Tri teaser I got a strong desire to re-watch the first season.
And these BD encodes look a lot better than the alternatives that are out there.
Is there any chance that you will get done with the entire season before Nov 21?
I ask as it would be pretty cool to be done re-watching the first season by the time the first part of Digimon Tri comes out.
I can’t make any promises but I’d like to think we’ll have them done before November. These generally require less work than most of our releases, I just have to find the time to work on them. I’m currently making a push to finish up Kamen Rider OOO over on OZC Live and as soon as that is done, I can focus my efforts on Digimon a bit more.
Ok that sounds great, don’t get me wrong though, I didn’t meant to rush you.
I’m just thankful that you guys are taking the time to do this in the first place, so even if it’s not done for November that certainly won’t be the end of the world.

unlikely, even if they did one episode a week it would take them over a year to finish it.

in any event i wasn’t complaining, i just wanted to watch the series again before the psp game’s translation was finished. (haven’t seen it since i was a kid)
Other groups are doing it much faster. Please feel free to go and get it from them if timing is what you are worried about.
Also, the set came out in early March, so if you want to be super literal it’s averaged an episode a month.
