Release Schedule Update - Monday 12/28/09 - End of the Year Edition

So, here we are, the last Monday update of 2009. Before I get to the releases coming up, I wanted to look back at a few stats from the past 8 months.

Series Completed: 7
Movies Completed: 4
Total Episodes Completed: 199 (Can you believe it, I'm one shy of a nice round 200...)
Total Hours of Released Anime: Approx. 87.1 hours
Total Site Hits since 6/15/09 (First day of Google Analytics Tracking): 125,186 hits
Total Staff for a "One-Man" Group: 6
Most Downloaded Release (Based on Nyaa/BBT): Code Geass S1 Batch; 2660 Downloads

So, in case it hasn't been clear, for the last month or so, it's been a real struggle to come up with random facts for the Monday intro. Because it's a new year, it's time to drop them. But in their place will be something a little more interactive. I'm not going to reveal what it is until next week as I'm still working out a few kinks, but I think that it will be a nice change of pace.

So, lets get down to business, shall we? As you can see below this post, GitS S.A.C. 2nd GIG has started to release. This week is going to be a GitS week of sorts, as I'm going to try and finish the other 13 Tachikomatic Days episodes, as well as release The Laughing Man, the season 1 compilation movie. Along with those, additional 2nd GIG episodes will release.

Some of you may be asking where the Gundam OVA that has been promised is. For the moment, we are still working out some encoding issues as I want to provide the best release I can. I figure delaying it a bit longer is an acceptable alternative to putting out something I'm not happy with.

On the subject of a new Blu-ray series, I'll be attacking Black Lagoon here pretty quick. These will likely beging next week if we aren't ready for the OVA.

Lastly, as January is nearly upon us, Code Geass R2 Part 3 should be arriving soon, meaning the usual "Drop everything and work on Geass" style release. I'll update more on that once I have shipping confirmation.
