Release Schedule Update - Monday 10/5/09

"Aqua Teens! Come on out and meet your doom. For we are, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday!"

OK, that's about enough of that. Let's look at what's planned this week.

Up first, I'll be trying to finish the currently available Gundam 00 episodes tomorrow. After that, once again, 00 will be on hold until Part 3 comes out, which should be on track for an early November street date.

With 00 out of the way, I'll be resuming work on Outlaw Star and Ghost in the Shell. The GitS raw situation has been figured out now. More on that in a moment.

Looking forward to the next Geass R2 releases, I am expecting to get the DVD's around the same time I did with 00, about a week early. Being that retail release for R2 Part 2 is the 20th, I expect I might have them next week.

Right now, we are planning on taking a semi-break next week. The site needs some additions and overhauls, and there are a few things I need to catch up on. Right now, that amounts to the batch releases for FMP and Gundam Wing, completing the analysis of the Operation Meteor episodes for translation, and some other general housekeeping. Next week's update post will have more details on everything happening. Dependng on the time it takes to complete the upkeep, if Geass R2 arrives next week, I'll resume work on that once the work on the site is complete.

Lastly, regarding Ghost In The Shell, the decision has been made about how it will be handled going forward. Currently, the raws for all 26 episodes have been released by Zero-Raws in the same setup as the four episodes I have released already. These episodes lack the Tachikomatic Days shorts. Zero-Raws has also released a second set with these shorts added. My plan now is to continue using the raws I have been using and cutting the Tachikoma shorts from the other raws and releasing them as bonus material. This allows me to keep using the smaller raws and keeps the consistency of the releases the same. So, GitS will be resuming now that the decision has been made.

That about does it for this week. As always, thanks for your support!
