Release Schedule Update - Monday 10/26/09

Monday is an awful way to spend 1/7th of your life.

So, Monday-related hatred out of the way, lets get down to business.

Last week wasn't as productive as I would have liked. I hope to rectify that situation this week. I'm currently working on GitS Episode 8 and hope to release it tonight if all goes well. If not, it'll release tomorrow along with OS Episode 8. I'm hoping to get at least to Episode 10 for both series by the end of the week, but possibly episode 12 by next Sunday. That would put them both just shy of the halfway point.

Since there isn't much in the way of new releases scheduled other than the previously mentioned GitS and OS episodes, lets go over some of the stuff coming in the near future.

Once again, Geass R2 and Gundam 00 are on hold pending further DVD releases. Barring any delays on either set again, I expect to have them both on or before November 17th. Right now, working under the assumption they'll both come at the same time, Gundam 00 will take priority, followed by Geass R2. That will complete Gundam 00 season 1, and Geass R2 will reach the halfway point.

After Outlaw Star is complete, I will be picking up one of the Gundam OVA's. I already know which one I am going to do, but I'm going to keep that a surprise until it's time to start. Consider this the only hint about what that series will be.

Ghost in the Shell will likely roll right from Stand Alone Complex into 2nd Gig as the first half of the second season is supposed to be out in November. I'll be doing the first compilation, The Laughing Man, between the two seasons.

Once 00 Part 3 and R2 Part 2 are out of the way, I'll finally be ready to start FMP Fumoffu. I'll be working towards only running 2 active series at once after Fumoffu is done. Once the Gundam OVA or GitS is done, I will finally be picking Zeta Gundam back up. I appreciate the patience on the release of Zeta, especially since it keeps getting pushed back again and again.

Lastly, the Gundam OP/ED Collection Volume 2 release will hopefully fall sometime around Thanksgiving. With the extra couple days off and the relaxed holiday time, it should be easy to get it done, or close to it.

So, that should about cover where things are at for the next couple months. So, as always, thanks for your support!
