Episode 1: Outlaw World
Gene and Jim are hired by a woman named Rachel to protect and escort her as she services farm equipment. When they are attacked by Guild pirates, they learn Rachel is really Hilda, an outlaw in search of treasure. After the pursuing pirates are defeated, Hilda shoots Gene and forces Jim to fetch a large container. The container is opened, revealing a naked girl inside.

Here it is! By popular demand, and starting later than I expected, Outlaw Star has begun! I'm looking forward to this since it's been a long time since I watched this show, so it'll be nice to see it again. One addition I've made based on some feedback I got from Gundam Wing is a 3rd sub track that removes the karaoke from the OP/ED. I didn't make it default since I personally prefer to have the karaoke, but there it is for those of you who have requested it.

New to your website. I was looking things over on Tokyo Toshokan, when I noticed yours. I have been wanting to watch Outlaw Star and was too lazy to dl the batch torrent but now I see it is re-mastered and you will do one episode at a time, well, I'm in! ^^) As soon as I am able, i will make a donation. Looking forward to the first episode...downloading now as I post this.

No, I don't do ordered chapters. They are incompatible with Windows Media Center, which is my preferred way of watching my files, so I don't like to use them. They don't affect the file size that much that I find it necessary anyway. Hard drives are so cheap these days that saving 60MB isn't worth the trade off.

is the source audio that low too? its really low, but i guess i can just crank the volume
The volume level may be a result of the editing process. I'll check into it to see if I can make any adjustments to help with it. I do find that most of the R1 DVD audio rips tend to have a lower volume level than the Japanese counterparts.
