EP5-01

Episode 5: Relena's Secret

Relena heads to space with her father in a shuttle. They are escorted by Lady Une, who tries to make useless small talk with Minister Darlian. Meanwhile, Heero receives a new mission to destroy an OZ supply depot. The shuttle arrives at the colony, and Relena is amazed by how peaceful the colony is. In the meeting, the colony officials tells Darlian that they have no idea what Operation Meteor or Gundams are. As Lady Une waits, Relena goes up to the room to say she's shopping. She sees Lady Une's compact and takes it to her. Lady Une grabs it from her and throws it through the window. It lands on the floor and immediately explodes. Relena runs inside, finding her father seriously injured as Lady Une sends in her men to kill Relena. Some other men show up and take Relena and her father. Darlian struggles to speak and tells Relena that he has a confession to make. He says that he's not her biological father, and her real name is Relena Peacecraft, daughter of the monarch of the Sanc Kingdom. With his last dying breath, he tells her to beware of OZ.

Duo's Deathscythe is repaired by a weird old man named Howard. Meanwhile, Trowa leaves Quatre's base, and Quatre tells Rashid that he wishes Trowa would attack so he could see him again. Relena wakes up and says she wants to see Heero. Suddenly, a strange old man with a cybernetic hand appears. They drive around in a limo, and he says his name is Doctor J. He tells Relena he trained Heero to be an assassin and sent him to destroy OZ before they begin a war. He tells Relena to stay away from Heero. At the same time, Heero completes his mission, saving Duo in the process. He considers them even as he transforms the Wing Gundam and flies off.

This episode has a few tweaks to the subs based on feedback I've gotten. If you'd like to see the subs larger than this, please let me know.
