What is OZC?

OZC Anime is a one-man anime release group that started in April 2009. Its main purpose is to deliver the best high-quality (Blu-Ray/Remastered DVD), dual-audio (English & Japanese) anime at a reasonable file size; the complete package. Perfect for archiving!

F.A.Q.s

Q: Do you do fansubbing?
A: No, this is not a fansubbing group. We hardly know any Japanese. All English subtitles in our releases come from original R1 DVD sources, unless otherwise stated.

Q: What are your sources?
A: Video is usually taken from pre-encoded raws or self encoded from Japanese (Region 2) DVDs/Japanese (Region A) Blu-Rays. Audio and subtitles are from US (Region 1) DVDs unless noted.

Q: Do you have an IRC channel to download episodes off of?
A: Nope. We use strictly torrents for regular releases and MegaUpload for the 720p conversions. MegaUpload versions of some releases are also available; links can be found on the Affiliate Links page.

Q: Where do you operate from and when can I expect releases?
A: OZC himself is on the West Coast, U.S. However, releases from any of the encoders/uploaders can come any time of the day because we are serious night owls. New releases come on a fairly regular basis of at least 2 to 3 times a week.

Q: What torrent tracker do you use?
A: Currently, all releases are tracked through NyaaTorrents.

Q: Who do you use for seedbox hosting?
A: Our current seedbox is hosted by Fastsh.it.

Q: Why mostly mecha titles?
A: Because you dig giant robots, I dig giant robots, we dig giant robots, and chicks dig giant robots. NICE!
